CVLTVRA, is born from a combination of trips, experiences and memories from our Chef Owner, Sebastian La Rocca who is passionate about ingredients and Latin markets. In CVLTVURA, he is able to express that love through its cuisine with Mediterranean and Latin DNA. Chef La Rocca prides himself in the quality and handling of his ingredients, working closely with local and artisanal producers that offer fresh and unique options that stay true to its Latin roots while still being inspired in the Mediterranean.
ABOUT OUR CHEF:
Sebastian La Rocca is an Argentinian world-known chef with Italian roots and a nomadic heart. He is the owner of NOMADE Culinary Consultancy, where he devotes his time to consulting and guiding restaurants and hotels on an International level. Additionally, Sebastian hosts a famous cooking show called “Sabores” broadcasted on one of the most well-known TV channels in Costa Rica. His professional background and experience has been along the way with outstanding figures such as Jamie Oliver, as well as being chef of other distinguished restaurants such as The Mangrove -Autograph Collection (Panama Beach, Costa Rica), Hanbury Manor Marriot (2 AA Rosettes, Michelin Guide) (Ware, England), Barbecoa by Jamie Oliver (2 AA Rosettes, Michelin Guide) (London, England) and El Bistro by Faena Hotel & Universe (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
